We’ve known that Trump’s cruel deportation agenda would rely on aggressive, multi-layered detention expansion at all costs — including at the expense of Americans receiving lifesaving healthcare & millions of kids having school lunches, but the scope, scale and human toll, continue to be shocking.

We’ve known that Trump’s cruel deportation agenda would rely on aggressive, multi-layered detention expansion at all costs — including at the expense of Americans receiving lifesaving healthcare & millions of kids having school lunches, but the scope, scale and human toll, continue to be shocking.
There have been over 22 deaths in ICE custody since Trump’s inauguration, a record number of deaths within a calendar year since DWN began tracking in 2006. Take action as we collectively honor, remember, and grieve lives lost in ICE custody. #deadlydetention
