Its never been fixed, but having a mod that prevents the auto activation of the quest sorta mitigates it.

They should but: Make sure to scan the right regions codes?
I might be thinking of a different game... I recall some 3DS game having issues if you scanned QR codes for Japan on a Western game

I went to Distant Worlds with a group of friends a few weeks ago (Yes we dressed in Light Party colors!) So much fun!

Well Ive also tried reseating my GPU (Which is a PINA in my case) since Ive read some people mentioning the exact error can be GPU related.

Trying now with 1 RAM stick, and it didn't immediately crash.

Well I was running a BIOS from a year ago (when I upgraded to the 5700x3D) up until this crashing started. Updating cause.

But man... big problem is the QVL hasnt been updated in years, so all the 32GB kits are still like $200. - If they even available.

Im runnin Linux. - I know Ive tried booting a previous Kernel version and that didn't fix anything.

And yep the Motherboard got a BIOS update last month.

Fairly old, I got it back when I had a 3700x in 2020. Didn't even think about the QVL List when upgrading from 3000 to 5000.

Okay I could have sworn it *was* on the QVL list... But apparently this model isn't.

Memtest really is for finding if RAM is faulty, not so much if it is stable. Gotta love that those aren't the same thing.
