i created a physics based animation system. you pretty much keyframe the target rotations of the joints and then save each pose one by one. Then just play them in a sequence

its been pretty quite here right? so i just wanted to give a little sign of life. At the beginning of the year I got laid off from bossa studios along many others, but i found a new place pretty quick. Its been great so far.

I had a lot of fun making the website. I guess mostly because it was something different where you dont have to watch the unity recompile loading bar for 2 minutes, then let the character Jump on something, see that its not working and then do the same thing 100 times again

the one thing that fucked my brain for some time was to create a plane around the pool and punch the shape into it. clipperLib and chatgpt for the rescue tho

here is another mesh generator i did for the skate game.
a (skate) pool generator.

you can pretty much place curves and line tiles on a grid, and then the mesh gets created for it. its much easier to create precisely shaped bowls then using the freehand tool i showed before. #gamedev

i had another version of the skate game ready that looked like this. semi realistic with skate3 controls. but it would be to time consuming and expensive to make.

so for now, ive put this aside and went with the THPS like. lets see what comes after that #gamedev
