there are a lot of titles I like for Atreus but I always end up going back to "the redeemed" since so much of his story revolves around him choosing to redeem himself and become a better person

this is age-old discourse, i can't believe i'm seeing someone say this sincerely in 2025. this is a fake problem located entirely within a specific type of fandom. there is plenty of non-gay art about male friendship and being gay continues to be much more stigmatized than "men being friends"
Kinda bothers me when fans interpret every close same-sex relationship in media as romantic/sexual. Like I fully grasp how much "historians call them roommates" shit sucks
