Junk enthusiast.
This has a banger opening where Rom walks in on a bunch of guys robbing a bank with a laser, turns on his analyzer and discovers that their cop hostage is the Dire Wraiths and annihilates him and one of the criminals goes mad with rage at an alien killing one of us

Issue 2 really hammers home the great—very Marvel—central premise. The Dire Wraiths on Earth have been here for decades, so when Rom blasts someone who’s been your friend for years, you think he’s just on a murderous rampage

Jacob, are you just saying this because you’re putting up Christmas lights while watching the 4K of the first one?

Was going to see Sisu 2 but they must have dropped it for more Zootopia, so catching Rental Family instead

I'm torn between Fast X being a hilarious ending to the franchise AND wanting to see the hilarious way they get around little Brian aging six years between the beginning of the cliffhanger and the end

I will say...they should still do that final bit in Fast X: Part II if it ever happens.

God bless an inarguable declaration, the keystone of smalltalk

Reform School Girl—Part of Showtime's Rebel Highway series where notable directors remake Roger Corman films (check out Joe Dante's Runaway Daughters). This sees Jonathan Kaplan doing a strangely sedate women-in-prison remake. LeBlanc is good doing a '50s tough guy but disappears halfway through

Twenty Bucks—What if Pulp Fiction was twee. This interlocked story anthology follows a twenty dollar bill as it passes from hand to hand. One of those "oh shit!" casts where every 30 seconds you point at the screen like Leo. Schwimmer plays a nicely smarmy boyfriend who always has a business pitch

Blinds this guy, cuts one guys legs off, makes a guy deaf and mute and squeezes a guys head until he reverts into having the brain of a child.

These four now have to learn martial arts techniques tailored to their disabilities

A guy gets his arms cut off as a kid and his jerk dad makes him new metal arms. Now whenever anyone annoys him he disables them in a different way.

Return of the Five Deadly Venoms (it also has a more accurate title, but with a slur in it, so lets go with this)
