I think the news report was that the chair hire/room setup was an additional cost, on top of the per head, and that was why the total was $3200. Still ridiculous. The venue obviously wasn't suitable if chairs had to be hired.

Latest is that it includes chair hire & room setup, but there are plenty of modestly priced venues in Auckland with chairs already available. $25 per head is an expensive morning tea. $15 per head will get 3 items (2 savoury, 1 sweet). Are the cafe owners related to/known to Sonny Kaushal?
