A while back, I asked for other countries to come to our aid. It seems this has manifested as investigations arising from Ep-files. I am especially hopeful that the other origin nations of survivors and victims bring about justice.

I have maintained my exercise regimen (this time) for 7 months. It is my depression remedy. In the last week, a vision of Linda Hamilton in Terminator keeps popping in my mind as I work my arms. Wonder why?

Yesterday I encouraged a 15 yo student to talk through a silly math problem. He, "I'm no good with word problems." In the tiniest of ways, I keep up the fight. One day he will be faced with malicious propaganda, but relentless problem solving skills provided by his teachers will keep him resilient.

To say a bit what people’s lives are like: both of my kids’ schools have chats that are connected to the parents and neighbors patrolling school grounds observing for ICE. Every a.m. other parents monitor them in case we need to quickly go to the school to help prevent a child from being kidnapped.

Why do our phones even show us telephone numbers anymore? It's not as if we dial or punch numbers. We tell it a name, and it makes the connection, like in the switchboard days. Or how about party-lines, where you rang a certain combination of shorts and longs so the right house would pick up. 😉

Today is the 34th anniversary of my daughter's birth. 10 birthdays without her brother, my son. I feel profound grief because he was the one other person in the world who loved her as I do. He was the ONLY person who connected with her. I love her... He loved her... She knows.
