Who wants to move to Las Vegas though?
At least Madison, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Asheville, Raleigh and even Detroit now seem like more desirable places to live than Vegas.

Id be so utterly resigned if I was a UK lefty. Things are more dire here, but things seem even more hopeless there.

Really does seem like voting Greens is the best possible option left to people there, and just hope they somehow overtake labour.

JD Vance's ideal America is a place with half the GDP where everyone with potential and options gets the fuck out, a shithole that people from countries with actual dynamism visit to watch chintzy 'traditional' dances before going home.

The left doesn't talk about it a lot because the right has spent years doing deficit hawk bullshit under much better fiscal circumstances but one look at any projection of America's fiscal future will turn you into John Boehner. Eventually the world will stop needing or wanting American debt

Yeah, I don't really see it getting to *that* point, even though I think we are getting to a point where a couple of those districts' gerrymander will break, like NC-11 or NC-14.

Like I think we're heading towards a Blue wave, but don't think it will be significantly bluer than 2018.

This and the belief (which I also unfortunately believe) that when Democrats take back power, Dems wont punish them.

Didn't follow the Jersey City race, but baffling that the machine would line up behind this guy.
