I really like how the black eyes look with the kitty that has less realistic stripes. With the dark grey one, the eyes feel too small and the face doesn't read cat to me. It's possible that the nose is to blame. It's a different shape and slightly larger, compared to the pink noses.

I'm not too keen on adding eye lids. I've done it in the past for some sleepy looking plushies, but getting the fabric into the right position, and securing it into place, always felt like it was more trouble than it was worth. XD
