I'm a Danish mixed media artist, who's passionate about designing and making ornamental plushies. I sew mostly by hand and love bringing my finished crafts outside for photos that make them come to life. My links: https://linktr.ee/demicreations

Finally nearing the completion of this mottled grey horse plushie. Can't wait to see how the fur will look, once the body is stuffed. Now to find a name and a loving home. 🪡🧶🐎❤️
Other times it becomes glaringly obvious that he doesn't really know what his legs are up to... 🧶🐈‍⬛🍂🍁
At times it's hard to spot his disability, especially during our walks outside, where he is walking and navigating very well.
Murphy is doing well and we've resumed our training sessions outside. I wish it was spring time again. It's cold outside and Murphy prefers to go outside after dark...
From the get go he seems much more robust, compared to the first stroke he suffered.
Murphy doesn't walk in circles and his appetite has returned, although he's forgotten how to eat properly, so he just licks everything into oblivion. He seems less wobbly and walks well, despite now being numb in all four legs, instead of just two... 🪡🧶🐈‍⬛🍂
Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm chugging along, but time to sew is at a premium. Murphy had another stroke two days ago. Luckily it doesn't seem to have been as bad, as the first one he had back in June, but it has set him back in his rehabilitation. He is doing well, all things considered.
Me neither, until I first spotted it maybe a year ago, while browsing.
I don't airbrush any fur. I don't have the equipment and my skin is very finicky, so it's nothing I want to dabble with. These furs came with stripes and can handle being handwashed..
This fur has the pattern on it. It's from AliExpress. You can search for "faux mink printed fur"
My crafting buddy visited me this weekend, so it was a perfect opportunity to start on something simple, that I can work on and off on, between the lifelike plushies. I've been itching to try out the cat themed furs. 🪡🧶🐱
The hoof bottoms are one of my favorite details. Now to add padding inside the hooves, fill them with plastic beads and seal them. After that I can finish the leg seams. 🪡🧶🐎🍂
I got up early today and worked on the creation of the hoof bottoms. It felt like a bit of a struggle. Every step of the way something would cause trouble. I did get through it eventually. Phew. I swear that embroidery machines are possessed. They're always waiting for a chance to screw up. 😬🪡🧶🐎
Thank you! I had a lovely day and decided to chill in the evening.
I've made a decent amount of progress yesterday eve and earlier today. I really like the quality of this fur. It's both pretty and super nice to work with. It doesn't make for exciting photos at this point, but that should change soon. 🪡🧶🐎
The days are busy, so not much time for crafting lately. I've started on another horse. This one won't have markings, so I picked a frosted fur, for a more mottled look. 🪡🧶🐎

It's my birthday today. Might do some sewing later today, or just chill. It's a beautiful autumn day with sunny weather. 🍃🍂🍁
I brought Moe the Valaise plushie outside today for his outdoor photoshoot, before he's off to his forever home. Murphy came along and kept photo bombing me, so I figured that I should try to include him.🪡🧶

It's still available at this time. :3

I love how this Valais blackface plushie turned out. It's adorable with all the curly fluff left intact. It struggles like Bambi on ice to stay standing, as the top of each leg is very soft and wobbly. On the other hand it poses very well when sat or laid down. Now to find a name and a home. 🪡🧶🐑
I'm always looking forward to the floppy photoshot right before stuffing the plushie. I think that this little ball of fluff looks extra cute in this stage. Viewed from the side it reminds me more of a fluffy dog than a sheep. I'm very curious how the proportions will look once stuffed. 🪡🧶🐑❤️
Pictures from the past days' progress. I've mainly been working on the feet and legs. 🪡🧶🐑
Done with the head! I kind of like this super fluffy look. It's not a realistic fur length for a lamb, but it is very cute... Maybe I should keep it long? What do you think? 🪡🧶🐑
