Covid began in 2020. Trump bungled it into a deep recession. Biden had the economy humming again on January 19, 2025. Trump Crash 2.0 might be two Covids deep. When the panic comes, there can be no bailouts.

JUST IN: Federal Reserve just pumped $16 Billion into the U.S. Banking System with overnight repos.

It’s the 2nd largest liquidity injection since Covid.

I’m sure everything is fine.

K-shaped growth is the baseline. "All for One (%) and One for himself!" Big banks are bullish on rising GDP floating some boats. Probably not yours.
Big banks' 2026 economic forecasts, in plain English
When bankers talk “moderate growth” and “uncertainty,” they’re often saying even less than you'd think

Another way of saying this is "More than half the country is experiencing recession."

Study after study shows campaign ads barely move the needle. So where does money’s real power come from? I ranked the five ways money corrupts politics—from least to most corrosive. What I’ve learned from 15 years of tracking political money:
Money Doesn't Buy Elections. It Does Something Worse.
Campaign ads barely move the needle. The real influence is hiding in plain sight.

Gen Z is being exploited for their labor and price gouged on basic essentials.

They’re spending more on basic necessities than previous generations and their wages aren't keeping up.

I predicted this in March, but had not seen evidence like this. The fruit harvest in Washington was good, I think. But this is the hidden cost of Vanilla Isis.
CALIFORNIA: “Crops ready to be harvested were abandoned - left to die in a field simply because there wasn’t enough labor… workers are showing up less because of (Trump’s) ICE raids.”

The Buffett Indicator is two standard deviations above its long-term trend. A measure of the financial economy divided by a measure of the real economy.

The current mess is EXACTLY the opening to enact what +39% of Americans want. Politico is 180 degrees off.

It's simple, not complex like Obamacare or GOP "concepts". It eliminates the need for the many bandaids. Rural hospitals reopen immediately. The losers would be the profiteers, esp. insurers.

Can you say "Obstruction of justice?"
Deputy AG Todd Blanche said the DOJ would “release several hundred thousand" Epstein files today, but acknowledged the release won't include all of the department's documents for the probe.

“I expect that we’re going to release more documents over the next couple of weeks," he told Fox News.
DOJ won’t meet Friday deadline to release all the Epstein files
The delay means the White House is in apparent conflict with a law President Donald Trump signed in November.

It's only because the Crazy is on fast-forward that we don't appreciate its full dimensions.
The GOP, which has historically pitched itself as a proponent of “states’ rights,” is now advocating for transferring “strips” of California to the federal government. trib.al/C4hvZm2

Economists recognize that a growing labor supply boosts the economy. Trump has reduced the incoming supply and with ICE intimidated many more out of it. Attacking legal and illegal immigration may affect the U.S. economy for years to come. Combined with the tariffs, it's Smoot-Hawley on steroids.
“The Trump administration’s policies on illegal and legal immigration would reduce the projected number of workers in the United States by 6.8 million by 2028 and by 15.7 million by 2035 and lower the annual rate of economic growth by almost one-third.”
