This is how I imagine their thought process: "How can I park it? Oh, on the pedestrian sidewalk. I shall not think of others' needs."

This sign here is from Toronto, on a road that is too wide. They needed 2-stage cross for pedestrians because they *just* couldn't stop car traffic long enough for someone to safely cross.

This ^ is a common phrase, but I don't see as much discussion on how people chose use a two-ton vehicle as their jacket.

#inktober #shredded First, I drew a place I'd like to live: safe, reliable transit, housing and stores within a reasonable distance, children able to walk around around, safe bike lanes, raised sidewalks.

Then I drew Bay Area traffic and sprawl over it.

Guess which days I was on vacation in Toronto...

I wish more places were walkable for all residents, and areas with high foot-traffic had affordable housing and businesses.

I pay the same amount of gas tax as someone who drives an electric car: none. I sure hope the tax wasn't being used for road maintenance or something. /sarcasm #inktober #heavy
