Every subsequent screenshot I chance upon from Caves of Qud makes it harder to resist picking up. What other game combines such laconic prose (“forelegs stiff in vigil”) and bizarre comedy (guard dogs burning effigies) in the same box of flavour text?

Visited the crypt of the Habsburg dynasty today in Vienna and, as you can see, their tombs are metal af.
