Echoing this. I am one of many who never thought the USA should ever take another sovereign country.
I have friends everywhere.
I want the world to know how ashamed I am. This is not what Americans want.

I recognize Greenland's sovereignty and their right to remain independent.

If Greenland was ever threatened, the real America would show up to support them and leave when it's over. That's what real allies do.

I'm sorry.
US will take Greenland the ‘hard way’ if it can’t do it the ‘easy way,’ Trump says | CNN Politics
President Donald Trump continued his threats towards Greenland on Friday, as he insisted that if the United States did not act Russia or China would occupy it in the future.

Nice documenting of a research process. If you're interested in old games & obscure publishers, the channel for NewVenture Games - which itself specializes in publishing pegboard games - has a number of charming bite-sized videos. A channel I don't think gets enough attention.

I mourn the passing of MTV's Music channels the way I would mourn a kid I knew only in Elementary school who moved away. Sure, I'm sad they went away, but I really didn't know who they became. I didn't really know them anymore. I could see signs of who they might become, but I've not know them.

As a geeky, tech-obsessed kid growing up without cable TV, Computer Chronicles on our local PBS station was a huge show for me. There's no way I saw every episode, but there were a number of years in the 80s when I made an effort to watch it.

Between Christmas and New Year’s is liminal time, like liminal space but for perception of time. Any other examples of liminal time?

Sunday activity is going thru a plastic tub filled with my old posters, old calendars, old toy instructions, old photos. These Muppet posters are going back to the vinyl albums they came with. The Muppet Movie and John Denver and the Muppets a Christmas together.

I'll be reviewing my Buck Rodgers Trading cards tonight. Disco Sci-fi was great fun when I was a kid.

Like many old specials, the digital streaming rights are in limbo. It seems for the California raisins claymation Christmas special, but you can find it on YouTube, including commercials from the era in which it aired 1987.

I started a project to rip all my CD’s to MP3 320 bit rate, FLAC, & ALAC. This morning I’m ripping Christmas CD’s.

20 minutes into the future
The Max Headroom Christmas Special must be seen to be believed.

My favorite part is in the beginning where each of the guest stars’ names look like they’re flying out of the turkey’s asshole.

Well, not something I would get, these Gaffex flashes that were the bases for lightsabers in Star Wars were interesting to see at the York toy show.

Ever since I saw the YouTube documentary by @amabel.bsky.social i’ve noticed skittle ball and other products from Aurora when I go to toy shows. This vendor at the York toy show had many of the products and he was in the process of marking them down. I’m not interested, they take up too much space
