What a ridiculous post. There were no voting machines used in the 2008 caucus - because a caucus is not a vote. It’s a discussion where voters choose candidates. In 2008, Iowa used Diebold voting machines, not Smartmantic.

Does that mean we can get rid of Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Melania Trump, Rupert Murdoch, and all the other rich people who have multiple passports? Of course that would also ban folks like Emily Blunt, Rob Halford, Trevor Noah and others we would like to keep. So maybe we should just follow the law.

Way back when online communities were new, CompuServe displayed user names in the format User#, Screen Name (which you could change), and the location where you were connecting. I like that. Individual posters could be held accountable by their acct #, but privacy was in my control.

Absolutely. No dog has ever lied to me, stolen from me, or deliberately hurt me. Can’t say the same for some people.

I know the feeling. We live 80 miles from anywhere and I broke my pelvis in 3 places the last year my husband worked before retirement. I have a 33-year-old granddaughter who has had 11 heart surgeries & 3 strokes, so your profile sounds very familiar. DM if you want to chat.

I find soft bread rolls, crackers, and cheese squares stay down best when I am nauseous. Apple slices work, as do popsicles or jello. There is a grown-up, inexpensive brand of fruit juice popsicles called Outshine that are both tasty & healthy. Ginger Ale helps, too. Feel better soon.
