Some years ago, when my job and my schedule kept me from seeing the Sun, I used a lamp and it helped me get through the winter. These days, one of my job duties is recess supervision so I make a point of standing on the north side of the playground and face south toward the Sun.

I have scheduled pickup for trash and recycling on Thursdays. On Monday, I called and asked when they would come - Wednesday or Friday? I was told they’d be here at 4 a.m. Thursday, and they were. I hope they get done and get home in time for dinner.
