Ageing hacker, long time documentary photographer. Black Hat Review board. Now sitting on numerous government cyber security boards so I guess that means I’ve grown up right?
It’s not often I’m lost for words, but…

Yes, it has never been easier to make a web scraper and yes most websites still cannot handle this, but as the thirst for more data continues, this lawsuit is going to be one to watch

I’ve seen so many posts saying “make a scraper, you can earn so much cash..” in recent times and whooah boy

And on the seventh day…

this one just made me think of Ernst Haas' work with colour. It's nowhere near his level but I tried

for those who care, Leica MP anthracite, 35mm Summicron ASPH, most were 1/15th

Finally got my Kodak Vision3 motion picture film scans back of Thailand. Low light, playing with colour and I'm super happy with these.

Really sums up the vibe that is Silom, BKK and I do miss my old home

20 mins later, the Mamiya 43mm doesn't disappoint

You know when you’re an absolute nerd when the coach of your kids football team asks you to collect stats for this season and you end up building an app with a backend and huge plans for data analysis

NGL, getting them have excited me a lot.

Sigh, they grow up so quickly. LD1 fitted his first atmospheric dump valve today. Proud dad moment

Yup this is where good stuff happens

Felt it was time to upgrade my camera processing setup and get with the times. You know, modernise and all that.

Dual monitors. 1.25gb ram AND g4 PowerPC. Unhackable as all those who could write shellcode for this chip now have back pain.

Heaven truly is a perfectly balanced Lancia delta integrale, a summers evening and winding country roads.

This car. Oh my days it is that amazing

Then to wrap up, @largecardinal.bsky.social and his jolly adventures being a diamond consumer that excites things with many legs in order to create a hackable quantum sensing platform based on diamond nitrogen-vacancy centres.

MIND f**ken blown. Badge lyfe isn’t about blinky lights anymore

ADS-B signals, FM radio, air band, oh so so much more and dat UX!!

Honestly this is just something else.

Then last year the Aerospace Village made, possibly the best badge ever and this year they’ve done even more. It’s beautiful and does more than just blink

I mean we’ve had some truly epic badges over the years. Joe Grands truly beautiful quartz one from DC27 that used near field magnetic induction to interact with other badges. A true work of art if you ask me

Earning badges and smiles. Thanks

I had one of these originally in the 90s, and it was my first adventure in digital. I thought what a fitting piece of equipment to document 90s & early 2000s hackers that I know and call friends.

All whilst storing them on media we once loved and used

Alongside the other cameras I'm taking, I have long been trying to document the hacker history that is slowly fading into the annals of time.

I recently picked up a sealed never been used before Sony Mavica MVC-FD5 and got some stiffy disks too.

Annual pilgrimage to vegas begins and with that is the yearly “what camera and stock shall I take for the desert?”

This year I will be tinkering with infrared, and I think shooting red rock Canyon/Valley of Fire with this emulsion should be pretty damn impressive.
