Ageing hacker, long time documentary photographer. Black Hat Review board. Now sitting on numerous government cyber security boards so I guess that means I’ve grown up right?
You know it’s gonna be a proper nerd Friday night when Ringway Manchester has a video on MoD NATO secure Myra blue (NATO secret voice & data) and Myra red (UK secret voice & data)

With PTT too and that classic dymo taped “secret” label so you know it’s secure right?

I’ve seen so many posts saying “make a scraper, you can earn so much cash..” in recent times and whooah boy

1/ Hi, I'm TProphet. I write the Telecom Informer for @2600.com. A lot of people have been asking me about www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat... given that I'm somewhat knowledgeable in the area.

Here's my take: I'm kind of astonished that this is public, and it isn't normal that it would ever be.

Finally got my Kodak Vision3 motion picture film scans back of Thailand. Low light, playing with colour and I'm super happy with these.

Really sums up the vibe that is Silom, BKK and I do miss my old home

There’s been over 1000 AI bills introduced across the US, with only 4 being passed (CA, UT, CO & TX).

Interestedly none look at actual safety and security of AI systems, but the use. That’s a massive oversight I feel. We need more secure AI systems

Interesting times tho

If you want to understand the struggle anyone doing input validation has, just look at ver 16.0 of the unicode standard: unicode.org/versions/Uni...

Unicode 16.0 adds 5185 characters, for a total of 154,998 characters

244 pages.

yeah, good luck with that.
