I’ll give the podcast a look. Thanks for the suggestion. A free press is essential, and The Daily Show does a great job at resistance entertainment and engaging its limited audience. It’s not trying to fix anything, and I appreciate it for what it is.

I get what you’re saying. It’s great at making issues accessible and entertaining, and I’ve always appreciated it for that. My point is that it’s just a mirror. It’s funny and insightful, but it doesn’t change anything, and I’m not expecting it to. It’s just commentary while the chaos continues.

You could say the same for the daily show. It may bring attention to the insanity but it isn't going to fix any of it. Just holding up a mirror and making jokes while it all burns to the ground. It's definitely been funny but nothing more than that.

Much better to be Air Bud than the refs complaining he can’t do that
I have a late August birthday and as a kid I celebrated from July to August so I can enjoy the gifts longer before school started which I always dreaded. Now it's the best time to take off as an adult.
