Been about two weeks since I switched to Linux, for non-work related stuff.
Learning the terminal was fun. So far, 99% of my games work without issue. Well, some I have to "Alt+Enter" to make full screen at times.
Still lingering issues. Like wifi not always turning on reset. Yet, all fixable.

It's hilarious and the style is great. It really looks like a 90's style RPG. Characters even disappear, as the next scene loads, like those old games. 😂 #gaming

New art, a vtuber, and more. Might as well, since I have the chance. Then do a full relaunch when I truly can come back fully. Should be fun.

Took a LOT of messing with, yet got the new Affinity app working in CachyOS.
So, games seems to be working great. Davinci Resolve works. Now Affinity.
Last is to get the Aitum plugins going for OBS, and I'll be mostly good to go. #linux

CachyOS has been a good experience. Learning a lot and will stick with this Linux distro. Very new to Linux, so lots to learn.
Sometimes Steam's download bar doesn't move when downloading. That or the came opens cropped until I Alt+Enter.
Yet, mostly, it's been fun.

CachyOS has been a good experience. Learning a lot and will stick with this Linux distro. Very new to Linux, so lots to learn.

Just reminded me how amazing the music and game was. Like Elden Ring, you'll never get to experience that first playthrough again.
By far, in a year of amazing releases, is my GOTY.

The growth of the HD-2D style, has been great for bringing old school pixel JRPGs to life or for remakes of old ones.
Yet, one game series that's not a JRPG, would be awesome to see done in this style.
That is, if Capcom remembers him for once. Mega Man and Mega Man X.

Yep and they are totally serious about keeping minors away. They totally wouldn't put an AI version of an anime protagonist, that's popular among minors, to get them to sign up. 🤣

The MMO scene is stagnant. Currently WoW, FF14, and ESO hold big audiences. Mainly due to legacy and of course fun experiences.
There are a ton of Korean/Chinese MMOs. Yet, those are essentially mobile style games and feel disposable.
The genre needs it's next "WoW" zeigeist.
