2) All of this takes me back 50 years, to the first round of community redesign of Couch Park. We proposed closing NW 20th between the school and the park . And it was opposed by… police and fire. It stayed a chained off actual street for many years, with resultant safety issues for the school. 2/3

A few notes on this memo:
1) It’s METROPOLITAN Learning Center (not Multnomah). It’s been there, in that name, for 57 years. This shows a very concerning lack of basic knowledge of the neighborhood.
