Is this to be a ballroom or a Throne Room.

Their day will come. We know people in the Netherlands who's parents were collaborators during WW2 - often to secure extra supplies. They were hounded for decades after the war, often having to quickly move and adopt new identities when found, and ended up dumped and unloved in elderly homes.

In the UK we welcome inward investment by giving companies tax breaks and so on to establish here. Isn't that normal?

There's something beautifully poetic about a strong woman named Sparkle who took on the forces of evil to prevent hundreds of vulnerable children from being whisked away in the dead of night. This is the stuff of legends.

I couldn't agree more. The old channel 4 film isn't bad either.

The eyes of the world are on this one and to execute them like the previous sailors would cause even more international outrage.

I would be a long way away from Washington on that day. I fear that something historic - and not in a good way - is going to happen.

There are times when an existential threat like a non-fatal heart attack or curable cancer makes you review your health and life choices. Sometimes you need the fear of peering into the abyss to appreciate what's important. This is true for individuals and whole societies. Heed warnings and act.

Yesterday was the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belsen by UK forces. In Europe we remember these dark times but sadly it seems that no one has remembered the sin of 'othering' people to the extent that they can merely be thrown away. Please learn the lesson of history before its too late.

History has shown time and time again that when empires get to a certain size they eventually implode into lawlessness and anarchy. Without fundamental rebuilding, both internally and externally the US will fade like Rome, Byzantium and indeed the British empire. Sad to see.

Ordinary Germans in the mid-1930s were completely oblivious of what was going on around them, living nice middle class lives thinking nothing would affect them until it was too late. Even at the end of the war they were horrified to learn the whole truth. Complacency is dangerous.

I genuinely feel for the good citizens of the US - but if you’ve lost the rule of law and the separation of powers, and are now heading into the realm of concentration camps being complacent is no longer an option.

There was wide international coverage and hundreds of thousands of supporters out on the streets in Europe.

And you have friends from all over the world cheering you on.

Also from the UK. We do see you and we can distinguish the good from the bad. These may be dark times but leaders like Cory Booker represent the very best of the you and we are convinced that good will eventually prevail. We will still be there when the US is healed.

From the UK too! This man is working to build our faith in what the US can be.
