Who pays anymore to spread facts and truths in a manner the folks who need to hear it most can accept? This interview is great, but I always go back to "The Sopranos" barely being able to hit 10 million folks at its apex, while "American Idol" can triple that no sweat.

Totally- what we work on is to build powerful emotional stories that can then Trojan horse in the truth. Get the spoonful of sugar right and the medicine goes down!

100% agree. Deeper concern is reliance on facts over narratives. If we consistently focus exclusively on the former, no matter how fast we can push, it’ll still be DOA.

That’s definitely true for the audience (ie, accepting disinfo without malicious intent) but Kirk, Owens and fellow bad actors know exactly what they’re doing. And are proud of it!
