Keir Starmer on Nadhim Zahawi's defection to Reform UK:

Admittedly I haven't been able to read the full announcement today. But from what I have been able to find out, this roughly represents what NPR could look like following today's announcement?

Our new database tracks Tory defections to Reform UK. The ease with which Tories are finding a home in the Reform UK party shows who the party serves.

I did my traction training with 222003

I worked my first train after qualifying with 222003

Unless I get any set swaps or shifts off spare, my last ever 7 car Meridian worked was 222003 last night on the 1802 from St Pancras to Sheffield 🫡

There's roughly 2 weeks or so to go for the 7 cars

What's that? You'd also like to host on a shiny new train? (and 222s for now)

Good news if you live within 60 minutes of Derby, Nottingham or St Pancras, we're looking for more people!

We're a cool and friendly bunch, go on, why not apply?

It seems the right wing press is getting a bit nervous now more and more evidence is coming out about how Brexit has wrecked our economy and the polls are showing fewer and fewer people support it. Lots of "betrayal" headlines. Imagine Tice's outrage if Brexit cheerleaders were accused of "Betrayal"

I'm not kidding: I reported on this FOUR YEARS AGO in "The Decade In Tory"

It also contained the entire COVID Inquiry (cost: £200m). And every single Brexit mistake (£140bn per year).

And it's £2.50 on Amazon.

Tory governments spent £325m on free schools that failed or disappeared
More than £10bn was committed to building new schools between 2014-15 and 2023-24, compared with £6.8bn for rebuilding existing schools
