Should have been Ulverston tonight, but sadly a few cancellations, including the last train, on the Furness Line led to me changing my plans!

A couple of Transpennine Express trains at Oxenholme!
It will always look weird seeing a class 397 in platform 3! If they wired all the way to Windermere we could maybe see it more!

That now gives it an average daily usage of 82. How many of that 82 would of previously just used Berwick-upon-Tweed or Dunbar?
Was it £20 million well spent? Not in my opinion.

The clock is ticking fast for HSTs in England!

Felt very weird using tap on tap off at a national rail station not in London! But at £6 cheaper than a paper ticket it’s an easy decision!
