3/3: Carl was familiar with the area from having spent part of his youth on Missionary Ridge, and Dolly learned that couples could get their marriage license and get married the same day in Ringgold. Plus she said, "It sounded good. Ring-gold was a good place to get hitched."

There were eggs-actly ZERO eggs on the shelves at Publix on N. Market St. in Chattanooga Thursday night.

2/2: He also spoke at the Tivoli Theater, the Mountain City Club, and the Convention Center. Plus he vacationed at the Choo Choo, and visited the Bass Masters fishing tourney weigh-in at the UTC Arena. Here are some of my favorite pics from his presidential library in Atlanta.

The final book signings were a blast, but I'm still meeting up between now and Tuesday with friends who need last minute presents. Thanks to friends (old and new) who came to see me this year. Special thanks to #FoodCity, they always make me feel welcome!
