New wand. Eucalyptus and fallow deer bone, with some nicep pyrography on it. Bought it from my friends @geminiaspect.bsky.social , lovely work as always boys.

Im showing off my new wand from @geminiaspect.bsky.social , I got it at the Scottish Pagan Festival Conference yesterday. Its eucalyptus wood with a fallow deer handle. Im going to consecrate it on Friday after my little outdoor ritual with my cauldron full of green fire.

Ok, so we have the itinerary for the SPF conference, but what's really nagging me is what Marian Green is going to be talking about. She's been practising since the 60s, so it could be a multitude of things. And it also doesn't help me decide what I fancy.

Ok cramp break. Its amazing how quickly you get out of the habit of extended physical writing, what with keyboards and touchscreens etc. So card time.

This one was definitely well worth the wait. Quartz with very distinct Black Tourmaline deposits. @yarnngems.bsky.social told you this one was worth waiting on the postman.

The Crystals arrived. One Obsidian tower and one Skull that we couldn't quite identify but it looked cool. @yarnngems.bsky.social Oh and some paw pics from Dodger because he had to inspect the tower.

Ok, first reading with the new deck. I figure I'll do one a week and see how long it takes for the cards to sink in.

This is supposed to be a titanium aura quartz skull, needless to say I won't be buying from that vendor again. Sell me glass and call it quartz? I dont think so. Still it'll make a nice display piece.

Im not a natural at divination. Crystal gazing, instant headache. Scrying, ditto. Runes aren't so bad. Oracle cards are better. But tarot is my nemesis, and I swear by Artemis herself, I will learn to read these damn cards at a proficient level or die trying! So, meet my new deck.

This is Dodger, because he wouldn't stand still long enough to be photographed the night I had to choose between him and his brother, who was also happily removed, just so no one worries. He's a little chocker who loves to groom your forehead when he's affectionate.

Im a sucker for a big bowl or a nice wooden box. Not so much on empty jars these days, though. Its easier to flush out old candle jars when they're done. It's a commonality of every Witch I've ever known, lol. Anyone managed to dodge this particular trait? #witchsky

New Crystals. A Taiji Jasper skull. A red flash labradorite which is a bugger to catch on camera. A prehnite and episode tower with a truly pocket, and a little puzzle sphere. I also got mum a Moss Agate rose, but that's vanished into her hot wee hands already lol.
