I closed out Noir City DC for 2025 with a pair of films from 1951, Cry Danger (my favorite from the second weekend) and Tomorrow Is Another Day (which had potential but ended with a whimper).

I saw a few more films during the second weekend of Noir City DC. Both 99 River Street and The Long Wait were fun and a little wacky but worth my time. They just didn't land with kind of weight that I hoped they would.

#whatiwatched I saw three more films between the second and third days of Noir City DC. My favorite of the three was Tension (1949). The other two were The Prowler (1951) and Mary Ryan, Detective (1949).

I wasn’t at Heroes Con in 1996 or 2008 but I was today. I bought more comics, went to a couple panels, and walked around the convention floor a few times getting a feel for what there was to buy and see.
