I was recently frustrated when the AI incorrectly wrote json deserialization code for about 45 minutes.
I told it “you’re fired”. *It* ended the conversation.
Maybe you can fire AI, but I had to start a new thread, so maybe not 😕

“Peer pressure” instead of leadership sending people to training is effective. There are people who ask for specific training. They are more driven naturally and end up being the vocal leaders in the meetups.

No training provided, expectation is we learn from peers. We self-formed an internal meetup and have had a few leaders and experts emerge from it

Yeah it does take discipline. Weirdly I felt invested in the code like it was mine, even though it’s not. I used the generated code to learn the idioms and aspects of the language.

Worked for me. Everyone learns differently though

I did a similar thing this week. Used AI to build a project and learn Gleam at the same time.
