Got to play a rare, and last, competitive game with my boy before he leaves for Newcastle later this year. He normally plays 1st grade and my top div days are long behind me. But 2nd Div were short so he filled in and I blagged my way onto the bench for the final game of the season.

Last time I posted a screenshot Ike this it was fire.

This time it’s flood.

Feeling very fortunate that everything is still in one piece. Many are not in that position…

Gonna be an interesting day…

This is a very bad photo I took a while back of a tawny frogmouth. They’re beautiful but very shy birds so felt blessed to have one so near.

We also have plenty of rainbow lorikeets and eastern rosellas, and magpies (my favourite).

I’m an appreciator rather than photographer, so no photos!

No applause necessary; I’ll see myself out…

Getting ready for work in the big city. Not sure I can afford to live in Sydney but I do love stopping by.

Just parked the car to this view. Back to work, I guess.

The post led me to the book as well. I know it’s not specifically for ADHDers but there’s plenty there that I’m finding mighty helpful. Thank you! 🙏

Sending you a brilliant blue Boxing Day sky from eastern Australia and hoping your Christmas is as brilliant as mine has been so far.

Inspired by a post I saw today:

This is a 1,300+ year-old Chinese Scholar tree (中国槐) at the Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi’an. It’s not looking spectacular in January, but still patiently waiting for the weather to warm to send out more new leaves.

I just love being around a living being this ancient.
