I am stunned to learn that writer/podcaster Leslie Lee III has passed away.
One of my favorite podcast eps I ever did was one we recorded together in which he called Marvel’s BLACK PANTHER “deeply evil.”

Some thoughts on the mayoral election:
1) The Cuomo campaign had no real message beyond hate and cynicism. It was an appeal to the past and going with what’s comfortable and familiar. In the end he was rewarded with humiliation.

Got it but what are the downsides
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"
