Hmmm . . . Moses, Moai, it all makes sense now! It's really Passover Island! (Just like how Die Hard is really a Chanukah movie!)

Today’s #Mead Adventures: Sweetened the cyser with another 6 fl oz of apple concentrate, re-stabilized, and bottled. Racked the wildflower from primary onto stabilizers and 12ozA clover honey. (When clear, will combine that with the grape ones to make them less grapey.) DID NOT start a new batch.

Today’s #Mead Adventures: Not much, just racked the cold-crashed #cyser off another layer of lees. Gonna let it crash for two more weeks at room temp rather than chilled, so the bottles don’t get condensation.

Today’s #Mead Adventures: racked the cyser from the bucket to a jug for cold-crashing, and started a new batch, 2.5 lbs wildflower plus water to a gallon, to dilute the pyment and the other grape mead to make it all not so intensely grape-y. Good thing I have a 3-gallon Fermonster to blend them in!

Today’s #Mead Adventures: Racked the non-pyment grape mead to get it off more settled lees, and decided to cut the way-too-grapey pyment with the lemon-tangerine, 3:2 because that’s how many bottles I had left. :-) Good thing I still have some meadowfoam left, and a cyser in progress.

Today’s #Mead Adventures: Bottled the pyment. Racked the wildflower onto stabilizers and 6oz of grape juice concentrate. Started a cyser with 1.5 lb of wildflower honey and apple juice to a gallon. (Planning to sweeten that and a wildflower trad, each with 6oz of apple juice concentrate.)

Today’s #Mead Adventures: Watered down the Meadowfoam to bring it up to a full gallon, now about 13% ABV and SG 1.013, bottled it, and re-racked the pyment for clarity. Will stabilize and sweeten tomorrow. In about two weeks I will bottle it, and cold-crash the current Wildflower batch.
