Yes, the group has every incentive to claim to be responsible for this massive swing, but if these polls are accurate, Bird (and likely several other Republicans) are in real trouble in this state.

First, no way did the ads cause a 7 point swing. Second, if a statewide incumbent Republican in Iowa is down by 7 points to someone no one knows anything about yet, the GOP is in real trouble here. It is truly shocking that they are touting that she's now tied for her re-election race.
