Everything starts as noise with Trump. It's sometimes impossible to know if it's going to become signal. So the media chases the noise, which helps them, or ignores it, which has its own set of risks.

That's exactly what the yes votes today signaled: there is no bill bad enough for us to block it.
As bad as this one is, the next one will be magnitudes worse and include all sorts of horrors.

Congress has no meaningful mechanism left to balance Trump and Musk, and Americans have no meaningful mechanism to influence any of it. Call? Write? Protest? Wastes of fucking time.
