An underrated record. The production is actually magnificent.

As long as any day should ever be.

But I have so many of those.

Who posts demonstrable horsehit like this all over Facebook? Why? What is their end game? Why is it so hard to block all of this crap? How should they be executed?

Walk away. Defriend. Zero tolerance for racism - and anyone who starts a sentence like that, will always and unambiguously finish it with racism.

You mean when tabloid journalists stopped writing headlines like EASTBENDERS when two men kissed in a soap opera, Piers?

Late Night With The Devil is superb. Ghostwatch meets Knowing Me Knowing You, in 1977. Although I don’t imagine that was the pitch.

Saw this in another place, where the comments underneath are hilarious and terrifying. Mostly from imbeciles whose complaint is “that’s commmmmmmunysmmm” but who are manifestly too fucking stupid to perform very simple arithmetic.

Watching the very fine Slow Horses, and al manner of exciting stuff happening in what I recognised right away as Clerkenwell Motors; the garage to which I used to take my car when we lived in London. Hope Sav and everyone there are doing well!

It’s minus 2, and with the sun barely up at 10am we are entering the darkest part of the year. And I could not be more here for it!

Facebook, now only used by me for work purposes, still throws up memories. From the days when I was either talking, sleeping, flying, or driving to the place from which I would fly. (I miss the bacon rolls, actually.)

Audible got that right.

So… help us to stop AI by teaching our AI to stop AI?

Finally. Now that Halloween is out of the way...

It’s time. I love this film. And I love the Point Reyes area of California where it’s filmed. Maybe one day it will be possible to return.

My friend @willguyatt.rocks, struck by a kind of localised Mandela-effect, thinks that I used to have a #Saab. None of my 30+ #cars (and counting, doubtless) have been a Saab. I wish I'd had a 9-5 though, as they came with dual sun visors, for the front and side. Because, you know, we turn corners.

We had our staff meeting two weeks ago in this apparently “buried” town. Grindavík is very much alive and open, with firm plans to thrive further. This is the kind of unadulterated gratuitous screeching horseshit one would expect from British low-rent, right wing “news” papers. Not the BBC. Shame!

A decent fall of snow on Esja. That’s more like it.

That literally wouldn't be exile.

I want to cease non-work use of Facebook altogether, but am required by sweaty craven cyborg Mark Zuckerberg to keep a personal account in order to manage a page.

It does however mean that “memories” like this pop up.

Our winter lights are up! It seems like only six months ago I took these down.

(It *was* only six months ago.)

When we lived in London, I had an air conditioner. It ran for days on end during the hateful summers, making existence possible. His name was Big Frosty. I now see that Netflix has made a film about his brother.

Finally, Esja starts to slip on her winter clothes.

Three years ago today I handed in my notice to LBC, and told them we'd be moving to Iceland, and a new job with RÚV, in the new year. I know how lucky I am to have traded one dream job for the only one that could have surpassed it (and did).
