Also guys i get that hyper realistic visuals seem boring at a glance but that doesn’t detract from overall art direction, like are we not seeing the costume and character designs? The environments? The enemies? Like yes next to hades and silksong it might seem dull, but it by no means is.

IT'S SO WEIRD! All throughout the year leading up to the nominees, people were absolutely in love with the game - some people even swearing off making fun of the French out of respect for it.

Woke up to see the sentiment towards E33 just nosedive, thats crazy. I think people are taking the game awards a bit too seriously, and the way people have been talking about it is really coming off as “popular = bad” which is kinda tiring. Maybe im just not as cynical as most folks
