Opeds pretending that the existential threat from the US is a new surprise are a form of denial of the fact that Carney has wasted a year following a mistaken strategy. We need to face the reality that his strategy isn’t fit for task, and change course.

Clearly this administration makes the strongest arguments for Russian aggression and Chinese reclaiming of Taiwan. Will Denmark invoke NATO article 5 if the US takes Greenland? Or will they turtle and say thank you like they did with the tariffs?
