Unexpected Gundam in Shadow Hearts: Covenant. This was fun to run across.

Finally been breaking the rust off of my brushes after getting some new toys from Game Envy. Still some basing to do on Juggernaut, but the figure itself is at least ready for the table

Back to this quintessential X-Men story in my Marvel read-through. I read this for the first time not quite two years ago. 40 years after it's publication and it's maybe even *more* relevant to what's going on in the world. No jokes or quips on this one. Just a comment that you all should read it.

Forever one of the weirdest things will be seeing the original comic versions of characters that I know from the MCU. In this case it's Obadiah Stane - gone is the avuncular mask to be replaced with a more traditional mastermind supervillain whose whole schtick revolves around chess. Iron Man #167

Path of Exile 2 is most often, ludicrously good. Then there are some bosses like this. This one is a combination of a small arena, large collision boxes on the boss, and mechanics that can require you to stand in a specific spot AND move all around the arena that can fire off at the same time.

Unless the Kraven movie features lots of him using his nipple cannons, I don't want it.

Actually, even if the Kraven movie features lots of him using his nipple cannons, I don't want it.

Fuck. At least buy me dinner first. This is why "word choice" is an important part of English classes. (Power Man and Iron Fist #74)

It's entries like this that give TTRPG rulebooks life, and more authors need to inject this kind of personality into what can otherwise be a very dry read of bonuses and penalties and other numbers. This specific example is from the ACKS 2e Rulebook for a trait granted to "arena armor."

Fantastic Four #1. For all of his immense talent, eyes were not always Kirby's strongest point.

As a mini painter, I empathize.

This was also the issue where Loki turned himself into a pigeon to hide and Thor famously decided to use a bag of peanuts to flush him out.

Then there's this scene from Journey into Mystery #88 where Loki peels off an actual physical disguise. Mind you on the page immediately prior to this, he had shown he could magically change shape and does so again later in the issue.

Over the past year and change I've been slowly working my way through the #Marvel catalogue and have been saving some of my favorite panels, but I haven't really shared them anywhere. So why not kick off this feed with some of that? Like this one from Fantastic Four #19 of Reed and Ben flirting.
