I'd have to take a closer look at Labour,
But my on-the-ground experience suggests that these parties are terrible at linking to voters. Like, they don't even attempt to talk to them in person.

I get the Americanist understanding, and don't want to dismiss it.
But it is striking that old center-left (and even their center-right) parties in the most advanced industrialized countries have face planted hard in the past 10 years.
But in other places the center-left appears resilient

Its apparently legal for the US government to apprehend and deport people to foreign countries so why not give these guys a free flight to the Netherlands?

That's what im doing, but its weird to say "join us at the county level cause our national party sucks!"
