Yeah he has an awful lot of miles on the tires, and a fair few injuries to boot. I think any good seasons beyond the age of 30 for him would have to be considered a bonus, but he has proven himself to be a special athlete so maybe he'll exceed those norms.

Honestly, not as bad as I thought. Payton still had two more great years, and Riggins had one. So even back then when sports medicine wasn't as advanced as it is now, it didn't completely cause the wheels to fall off immediately.

That's true, but it's not for lack of trying (spending insane amounts of money on coaches/recruiting violations/NIL/etc.) Would the Yankees winning the World Series be a good story after not winning for two decades?

Should more blame for our injury crisis be put on the club's training staff? There was some discussion in the off-season about how there should be changes there, but don't remember hearing if there actually was any?
