Science-minded mom and grandma, with a couple of trans kids. Typos may be mine or autocorrect, you decide.

I hate when I agree with him. It makes my skin crawl.

I’d recommend the study out of Utah instead. It’s better science.

Can we just impeach him already?

Not just Congress. SCOTUS is also complicit.

At my house we call this cat trick checking for poison.

I remember working at a pharmacy college back in the day. One of the department chairs lamented that the classes were becoming majority women because it meant that pharmacy was losing prestige. TBF it wasn’t that they thought the women were the problem but rather that the prestige went down first.

I’m so sorry you felt like you had no other options. Gatekeeping of care doesn’t stop people from needing the care it just makes people seek less safe options.

T is more regulated. But E and P are easier to get.

This is just awful. Puberty blockers were such a boon for both of my trans kids. I can remember being frustrated by administrative red tape that postponed them for a couple of months. I can’t imagine being in this situation.

Anyways, when JK Rowling and her ilk are long gone and their legacies are remembered for what they are, there will still be trans people around thriving. They may be winning the battles now but they will ultimately lose the war. They will never stop trans people from existing.

But the constitution makes elections the purview of the states. It would be a constitutional question if they could enforce rules that make states do the things he’s saying.

As a Washingtonian, please and thank you.

Yeah. The people I know shop at Sams instead.

They could have looked to Girl Scouts USA for how to do it. I’m still regularly reminded how proud I was when GS Western Washington returned a large donation with strings to deny trans girls and they made it up with grassroots small donations that wanted inclusiveness.

If only we could have predicted this.

Fair.

Are there people who specifically want reduced fuel efficiency?

Bodies are weird. Today my foot feels just fine. If it weren’t for the cut on my foot there would be no sign of anything.

Plus making sure that certain people never get to speak.
