Ooof. I can’t believe X chose this case, and this place, to fight a global takedown order.
Canada is the one country with a Supreme Court decision supporting global takedowns. The case came out of BC, like this one.
It was about trade secrets. This is an ugly NCII case involving a trans person. 1/

Google has moved from moral cowardice (removing ICE tracking apps) to direct complicity in the violent, unconstitutional abuse of vulnerable people.

I love “We Can Just Do Things” as a description of what ATProto is enabling so much.
This is super cool, and a real validation of the ecosystem. Forget all the whining about filter bubbles or what not. What's happening here is important, in large part because it allows people to build cool shit, not wait for some billionaire to order a lackey to build what they want at your expense

FWIW, when you talk to Democrats about MTG, Lauren Boebert or any of the other MAGA crew, they obviously find them horrible and bad. But when you talk to them about Nancy Mace, there's almost a level of pity. Ilhan Omar told me "I hope she does get the help she needs."
