How come it's not treated like fly-posting or graffiti? They haven't asked permission to put up flags or paint public property. I personally think calling it hate crime is going too far.

Sadly not. It was early days in terms of recording for me and I had no idea it was unusual for that area. I remember it because my tutor had casually looked at it from a distance and called it Hard Fern but I could tell it clearly wasn't. It was the first time I'd corrected my tutor
