Me looking at the steam deck and steam machine rn

Ok this does have my attention and now seems like the perfect time to push for a steam console, especially with the Steam Deck and the potential for full synchronicity.

But I still need to see the specs. What was leaked a while ago wasn't exactly anything to write home about.
Steam Frame, Steam Controller, Steam Machine announcement is expected soon, here's a first look!

Early days and I'm still questioning a lot of the design choices made here, but god damn if this game can't make you feel like an absolute badass sometimes.

Yeah I think I'm gonna enjoy this

Now that I'm done with The Outer Worlds 2 this puppy has to be next on the docket.

By very far my favourite hack n' slash series. I have genuine concerns about playing as a different character & the modern, mechanical tone of the setting. But I'm still expecting a great ride 🙏

I liked the 1st game as much as this one, but TOW2 is arguably a better showing.

While I have my criticisms, it builds on RPG elements in important ways. I particularly enjoyed how much traits, perks and flaws impact your entire playthrough and offer tons of replayability.

Obsidian's awesome man.

Nearing the end of my #TheOuterWorlds2 playthrough. I reckon I've got about a couple hours left.

This game's been super fun.

My top 50 gaming experiences of all time, ranked.

No franchise repeats (list would've looked very different otherwise)

I say 'gaming experiences' bc context matters a ton. A lot of these probably wouldn't rank if I had played them now for the 1st time.

Also very easy to see who'll be my GOTY lol

Some of these uniforms are seriously out of pocket

Decided to start adding more games to my steam account for when I inevitably succumb to the voices in my head and 'just get a steam deck'.

All these puppies for like $20. I think I'm starting to see the appeal of PC gaming.

Game's wild for calling me out like this ngl 😭

Morning you beautiful people you 🔥

Here are some more screen grabs of #TheOuterWorlds2 to brighten up your monday.

(some Fallout vibes in this game are unmistakable btw)

Playing #TheOuterWorlds2 with reactive backlights is an absolute vibe

Seriously go play this game folks

I own 3 of these.

STALKER 2 is my favourite game of 2024 and top 5 of the gen for me.

Frostpunk is one of my favourite indies.

And I spent over 570h on FM24 this year.

You take Spirittea out and this list looks like it was custom made for me.
games leaving Game Pass in 2 weeks:

-Football Manager 24
-Spirittea
-S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
-Blacksmith Master (Game Preview)
-Frostpunk

Having played the 1st game only a few months ago the visual leap between that and #TheOuterWorlds2 is incredible to me. From surroundings to gear and characters, everything looks crisper, sharper, cleaner and more vibrant.

Impressive stuff.

Now that Spooktober is over I'm about to go on a full on 2025 #Xbox binge.

Four back-to-back Xbox games, my ridiculously optimistic side is telling me I can finish them all in 1 month 🤞

Now that my October horrorthon is over, this is how I'd rate my gaming experiences this month.

My only replay was the first Alan Wake, so I discovered a ton of great stuff here. Horror is such an incredible genre.

Happy Halloween you fine beautiful folks! 🎃🔪🩸

Last Spooktober game!

Fear the Spotlight is a simple homage to Silent Hill atmosphere and retro aesthetics, one that uses ambience in a way that fully respects survival horror origins.

Doesn't nail everything imo, but it's a refreshing entry in the genre and a great Halloween pick.

Games like this often make me think about the amount of good games that go by unnoticed in a sea of releases.

Never heard of Coma 2 until I picked it up on a whim and I'm glad I did. A very competent survival horror, I feel fans of the style will appreciate it even more than me.

Just finished watching the ID@Xbox showcase, so much cool and varied stuff coming over the next year.

I'll be diving into every single one of these puppies.

Man I'm really digging this art style
October 28, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Out of the blue I decided to make this my next October horrorthon playthrough.

I don't really know anything about this game apart from the fact it looks like nothing I'd normally go for. But somehow that's what's making me want to give it a go.

Let's take a look-see 🤞

Another example where I fundamentally disagree with most reviewers.

Call of Cthulhu has its rough edges for sure, but to me it felt a bit like an interesting cross between Vampyr and LA Noire against a lovecraftian backdrop. And I mean what's not to like about that pitch?
