When tech demos and gpu vendors show off new cards with only realistic looking demos (which makes sense! It's a great way to tax gpus), consumers will eventually internalize that as "this is what games should look like". Maybe some chicken and egg problem there tbf tho

Finding this out on a Saturday of a holiday weekend is particularly frustrating, insurance/vendors/etc all closed until Tuesday
