Okay here's my new idea: Design a universal healthcare solution and pitch it to the White House as "Trumpcare".
I think that's the way in. You know he'd bite. I want his name to go away too, but if he can get it done, he deserves it.

To be clear I'm not saying the orange someone is behind either. Just that there's a psychological lean toward mass psychosis that the two eras have in common. (Which perhaps the orange someone is uniquely capable of producing.)

This is exactly how the first FDs in the country worked! You bought a plaque from them to hang on your house. If your house caught fire, the fire department would come, and if you didn't have the plaque they'd stand around and laugh.

They don't. A provision of the ACA is that all legislators and staff must be on an ACA insurance exchange plan and not the negotiated health care benefit that most federal workers get.

The performative "I don't support murder" that some people have prefaced their reaction with feels weird to me. Can we just assume that's the baseline and then have our reactions from there? Or do they have to say that to distance themselves from the pro-murder crowd?
