For sure, I've legit discovered something new every time I've gone back to it. This time I managed to get the egg parasite and got invaded by a gravelord for the first time. First playthrough I missed Ash Lake completely!

Depending on the day I could probably make a case for any of them being my favourite but there's definitely something special about DS1 that none of the others quite captured.

Not Bed of Chaos though. Horrible fight placed very appropriately in your list.

This is some effort! And think I agree with most of it too (Though I still haven't played the DS3 dlc). I replayed DS1 earlier in the year after beating Elden Ring dlc and it's kind of incredible just how well some of those fights hold up despite how many games we've had since.

Also, it has to be some of the best looking food in any game ever. And the audio when cooking is done so well, impossible to not feel hungry listening to the sounds of the aromatics frying away. Will be making very good use of the included recipes!
