What am I missing here? People are talking about how this attack is going to inspire right wingers to attack those they have grievances against, or inspire mass violence, and I’m confused because is that not the case already?

I can’t tell you how different it is on X now after so many people have left. I have always followed mostly right-wing accounts because I cover them, and they are running out of people to pick fights with. So they’re just mostly fighting with each other.

Sundays are my long ride days. Since it was raining that meant four hours on the bike trainer. While bicycling outside is still infinitely better, the trainer has a certain peacefulness to it. It’s also cool watching movies and playing games I guess.

It’s not enough to deplatform, even though we know that works. Rufo’s life has to be so thoroughly ruined that it acts as a warning to others. Conservatives are very open about this, they often say an ideology has to be destroyed by humiliating & crushing its leaders. Let’s do as they suggest.

A great thing about being a grown up is that you can ignore all the weather warnings and go on a 40 mile bike ride, then end up getting rained out for about 15 miles, losing all feeling in your hands and feet.
