Feeling like it’s just a constant battle at work, I know why lgbtq books aren’t getting added or the ones I sent to my coworker haven’t been ordered yet but still hurts. I just want more than one picture book with lgbtq themes. We have 2 board books, one juv nonfic.

I’m so tired of being on the frontlines for this culture war at work. Reminded every single day how this community is trying to silence and remove lgbtq voices from the library. Was having a perfectly good morning before all this 🫠
