I'll always treasure the moment when he retweeted my tweet about his film's anniversary five years ago. That was a huge honor for me. ❤️

Star Fox 64 is a fantastic game! All of my friends wanted their own Rumble Pak after playing that one. 🤣

Ah yes, I remember the FuncoLand days very well. LoL Even the commercials were great too. The kid playing Nintendo in the arena on the jumbotron screen might've been my favorite one. Heheh

To think the original Goldeneye game concept was a platformer for the SNES, and then an on-rails shooter, a la House of the Dead, for the N64 (which I don't think ever even got a light gun accessory it would need for the game to be any good). Then it morphed into its final form as an excellent FPS.

Wow, that's quite an evolution! Man, one could only wonder what it would've been like had they had gone with one of those prior plans. And no, AFAIK, N64 never did get a light gun.

I'm glad they ultimately went the route that they did, but that's such a cool fact. Thanks for sharing, Rye!

You got that right, Mr. Bond. 😉

But yeah, absolutely! I had such fun with both.
They came out at the right time.
